REASON: traction forces acting on the wound (intrinsically due to the cutaneous structure) do not help the correct healing process since they tend to open the layers.

SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND: Scientific literature suggests that such forces must act both «radially» and «orthogonally» to the scar itself such to obtain an optimal healing.
